I do not get it, but I got it now.
I think that it is great the Mr. Collins keeps this site up, but I have to ask why?
Are there any members out there at care about their benefits? I everybody fine with having their benefits taken away?
It is not just here. I try to get people at NARFE HQ interested in our situation and I seem to get the same response.
Oh yes. THey have been working on Social Security for some years now with no results. Whats another 10 years?
I do not know if the problem is systemic or if there are just a bunch of people who seem not to care, but whatever the answer is the same. Me and YOU as members can not sit here and expect NARFE to do all the work. If we show no interest they will not get the message and maybe....just maybe they feel they are beating their heads against the wall. Could they be trying and not be getting the help from it's members?
Since I do not know any of you this is not personnel, but I have to say that I have never before seen a group of people so content with loosing what they are trying as a group to keep.
I call a spade a spade and if anyone is upset with the contents of my message all I can say is great. if the truth hurts we all need to hear it more. I include myself in this.
For 4 years I have sat on my fat geester and done nothing. It took a side stepping lying congressman (Jim Cooper) to get me to the point where I wanted to start taking action to get things done. I wish that there were other NARFE members at that meeting that felt the same way I did. This Congressman sat there and lied to us and nobody else called him on it.
When I called him on it he called me a readicle, changed the subject and repidly closed the meeting.
Remember folks, our elected officials WORK FOR US We need not treat them like they are special or above the truth.

I wish a few of us members here tell Ronnie thatnks for the work he does with this site and begin using it get some things done. There is only ONE person who can change anything. That is YOU.
